SvaraRaderaWe read your guest post and your laws are far more advanced than ours. We wondered if the courts actually follow through on sentencing, though, when someone is convicted, and what the laws are for animal abuse. Here, our laws are from the 1800s (I think that's the case, quite seriously), and there's really no harsh sentencing for terrible animal abuse crimes. Maybe a fine or a ban on owning animals for a period of time. It's disgusting, our outdated Canadian laws.
